Tenbury Show a roaring success.

Tenbury Agricultural Society's, Tenbury Countryside 150th Anniversary Show held today on a larger show site was a run-away success.

There is no news yet on the total number of people who attended, but it is thought that number of people watching the first display by the Dancing Diggers, was the largest crowd for more than 20 years.

Great weather helped an enthusiastic crowd to enjoy a much improved and extremely well executed show.

Last year the flooding meant the cancellation of the show, but this year all efforts appear to have been redoubled and the result was fantastic.

Great show today i must admit ,does anyone know why it moved to the other side of the road?

I don't know the official reason, but it is a larger level site and had many more entrances off the public road. It also meant that most people could park the same side so was safer.

I've heard the original show site is to be developed as a Tesco Express.
