Audit Commission Red Flags Tenbury

The Audit Commission has launched a website called oneplace where all their reports and findings are reported on line.

Tenbury has received one of their red flags due to the flooding and lack of Government reposponse.

They are right. The town's biggest restaurant closed months ago and now Whites has gone to Shropshire. Sadly, the combined effect of the floods and the recession is a town in crisis. It may be too late now to save the town's business economy and maybe Tenbury is heading for "interesting village" status, in terms of being a collection of tea shops, pizza shops, burger bars, chip shops, pubs with hardly any customers, and 'interesting' balloon, card, craft and 'gallery' shops.
Look at the change over the past 5 years. You can't call it progress, can you?
