The Regal Tenbury Wells needs you!

The Regal, Tenbury Wells is currently being transformed thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, but that is only part of the story.

To bring this much loved building back into full use, Tenbury Town Council has agreed that the management of the building should be undertaken by a Charitable Management Trust.

There is already a group of energetic enthusiasts determined to capitalise on the refurbishment, but they cannot do it alone.

There are plans to invest in new digital cinema equipment, to present an extensive movie program, establish a permanent café/bar & Box Office, host live streamed events, performances from touring theatre companies and to hold classes in Drama, Art and Dance at the adjacent Community centre - all this, in addition to the local amateur productions, music and comedy nights - it is easy to see why the Trust needs more help.

An initial information and recruitment meeting is to be held “upstairs” at the Royal Oak next Wednesday 28th March at 7.00pm. Volunteers can be sixteen, drawing a pension, or anywhere in between.

Volunteers are needed back stage, in sound &, lighting, front of house, in administration, marketing & promotion, education & learning, fund raising, programming, in the cafe & bar, the box office, in fact there should be something to suit just about everyone.

Everyone is invited to come along to the meeting, or for more information contact David Hambelton on 01584 781767 or collect a volunteer form from the library or the Pump Rooms. Email enquiries can be sent to info@regaltenbury.co.uk

How many different visual identities has the regal got now? I count about 3 different ID's recently - will they settle on one final one soon do you think?

This is now the correct logo, but the colours aren't the right ones. The orange should be red.

We are awaiting a pronouncement. Still some confusion about what the exact colour is.

Orange now red, but is it the right red?
