Christ, I bet the DR's are doing a roaring trade in sleeping drafts.
These workmen sure do like their jackhammers and sthil slab cutters.

Overall I think it's a big improvement though the management of the project has been woeful. I'll give the stainless steel post outside the insurance brokers (opposite The Crow) a week! And why was the area around the loos left untouched - that was paved, at the time, to match the rest of the surrounding area, so why are they now different from it? More penny pinching?

The post has already been knocked down twice. Others are due to be installed.

The area around the toilets haven't been touched as that project is within it's warranty period.

'. . . warranty period' - it's crazy. It's a bit like deciding to replace all your white uPVC window frames with wood effect uPVC window frames - except for the big window in the sitting room which you are going to keep white because it was installed only two years ago and is still under warranty. That's barmy - and when the job eventually has to be done as a discrete piece of work it will be far more costly. Still, you can't expect much common sense from WCC.
