Bye bye Tesco ,the cheap nappy merchants are already crying .
Looks like we get to stay firmly rooted in the past :-(
If the building can not be demolished who else will stump up the cash for the site knowing they'll have to fork out for the renovation and up keep??
Small mindedness wins again, let's see how many more empty shop fronts there are in the next 12 months.
Mr.Longbeard, posting as anon as I've forgotten this log in password.

tesco will be putting plan b into operation
the yes to tescos will win the day
Well, if a company the size of Tesco can't make the site work it is extremely difficult to see who else might – especially in these straightened times. Perhaps, after all, something will be developed on the Burford side of the river . . . that really would spell trouble for Tenbury shops..
Well that's Anti-Tesco 1 - 0 Pro-Tesco
I've already heard of a new potential site for a Tesco store in Burford. I wont say any more at present as I don't know yet how true it is...
There are a number of potential sites.
Now they have withdrawn there is going to ve so many rumours about Burford don't believe them just people who have nothing better to do than make rubbish up.
Its like saying.
Real Madrid 0-1 Hereford United.
Love it!!
