More details
Despite being called the Tenbury Wells Transmitter, most of the Town of Tenbury Wells cannot receive a good signal from this transmitter. The alternate transmitter for Tenbury is the Wrekin Transmitter and the current forecast (Poor likelihood of receiving services through an aerial.) seems to indicate that Tenbury will not be served by a strong enough digital signal after the switchover to receive television using Freeview. It appears that the only option will be Freesat or Freesat from Sky or a Sky subscription service.

im sure there could be a few complaints then if we dont receive a good signal specially with the anount that we are charged for a tv licence a year
I researched a number of industry websites for this, and they don't completely agree with each other. I hope that the signal is better than predicted, but it seems to be a case of wait and see.
really? what a suprise! didnt see that coming. By the way the wrekin transmitter is miles away so knobody should be suprised. Comment?
and its not all about signal strength. a week digital signal leaves you vunerable to all minor weather conditions, you should get an extra 40 plus channels but i fear we wont
Anyone knowledgeable about TV signals reading this. Is the Wrekin transmitter really the main one for Tenbury?
well, i always thought crete had one but what comes out of it post april i dunno (answers on a postcard)
It's all Greek to me.
sorry, that will be Greete them! Crete may well be a tad to far for a signal
